cindy is visiting from london this weekend.  she's coming to visit me and issy, so a plan is devised.

• pick up munch
• pick up cindy
• go to issy's
• munch / booze / banter

cindy pitches up on time, around half nine, (side note, never go to eastville tesco on a friday evening, when you leave you feel as if you've actually aged).  we head over to issy's.  i'm writing this a month after the weekend so i don't remember everything we talked about but i do remember awesome pizza.

i've got my car so we decide to head for the beach.  it's not quite the right time of year to sunbath but we want to see the sea so we head to clevedon (?)

it's bloody freezing so we head across to bath.  start in victoria park, then wander down to moles fo some munch, (yum).  then a blurrry wander around bath...

we head back to mine.  it was a cold day so we decide to stay in, cindy makes crepe and betrays her country by telling me and issy the secret of a great crepe, (you just add ....).  we stay up and have banter.

a lazy morning creeps into afternoon, crepes and tea punctuate.  cindy had to head back in the evening, but not before a bit of eye-toy!

after very little sleep andy and i decide to head into town, leaving zena to slumber in peace.

tired and hungry...

but happy!

a brisk walk into norwich,  snow is falling.  the only place it's settling is on andy.  by the time we get to the centre it's stopped.  andy and i go shopping for a joint present for jenny, and see a bit or norwich too.

we meet jenny and wander back.  zena is alive by now, so we head for a pub for some munch.

we get back and head out to the bar on campus with helen and maddie, (andy's flatmates).  a few drinks then we head into norwich for the night.  unfortunately, liquid is gash and won't let us in because we're wearing shoes, sod it we jump in a taxi and head back.  all is not lost though, we head to the student union and end up having a wicked night!

There wasn't really a day three for me and  zena as we had to head back at ten.  a  v. cool weekend and i'll  definitely be wandering back up at some point...

the norwich expedition begins

ok. so my first post actually took part a week and a day ago today, went to go and visit andy in norwich at uea with jenny and zena, but no chris, (boo chris boo)

friday 10th march 2006

started off as a bit of a stressful day as my car failed it's mot and i wasn't sure if i was actually going to make it up there, felt pretty bad as i'd arranged to pick up zena too, but she was cool about things as usual!

anyway, i did manage to get my car back, although it cost the world, (i would tell you, but i cringe to mention it).  so starting at half five on friday 10th march 2006 drove up to towards witney to collect zena. we got on the road to norwich, heading cross county, rather than motorwaying it, (boring!)

there was some comedy at the petrol station when the manager ran out to my car as we were leaving explaining that i hadn't paid for my munch as i'd already eaten my munch by the time i'd got to the car, (v.hungry), had to reshop and rescan to pay.

fast-forward, go to norwich just sly of midnight, and greeted by a jubilant andy.  being back on campus we hit the booze and pancakes, (in that order), tennyson style. andy's flatmates were cool and after the initial, "man i'm tired" syndrome, it turned into a pretty chilled night in.

despite the fact that andy was the so called student, he passed out at around three, and zena and i stayed up and chatted by which i mean i talked and kept zena up.
